The Global Centre for Climate Mobility (GCCM) is inviting applications for the Climate Mobility Fellowship (CMF) for the period of 2025-2026. This fellowship offers a unique chance for young leaders passionate about climate mobility to gain critical tools, networks, and expertise needed to implement impactful solutions in this important field.
This year-long fellowship is part of the Climate Mobility Academy (CMA) and is specifically designed for youths from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as the Pacific Islands. Participants will benefit from comprehensive academic and practical training, access to international climate mobility forums, and hands-on project experience.
Twelve candidates, including four from Pacific Small Island Developing States (SIDS), will be selected to enhance their skills in governance, policy, and research pertaining to climate mobility while engaging actively in global policy discussions. Each fellow will also receive a stipend to support their engagement throughout the fellowship.
The fellowship will take place from June 2025 to May 2026, employing both in-person and virtual formats. To qualify, applicants must be aged between 18 and 30 years, proficient in English, and either reside in or be nationals of the specified regions.
