Qatar’s Amir Engages in Peace Efforts with Regional Leaders

The leaders acknowledged the advancements achieved within the East African Community (EAC) and Southern African Development Community (SADC), reflecting on the outcomes from their recent gathering in Harare, Zimbabwe, conducted on March 17, 2025.

Further discussions involved reaffirming a collective commitment to an immediate ceasefire and halting hostilities, as previously agreed during the EAC and SADC Summit held on February 8, 2025.
