XCMG Brazil has launched the first 100% electric water trucks, available in 25,000 and 50,000 liter capacities. Designed for various applications, these trucks incorporate advanced technology such as a high-flow pump and a joystick control system. The vehicles aim to meet market demands in agriculture, mining, construction, and sanitation, showcasing XCMG’s focus on sustainability.

XCMG Brazil has made a significant advancement in the field of sustainable transportation by introducing the first 100% electric water truck, which adheres to high technical efficiency and operational safety standards. This innovative launch featured two variants with volumetric capacities of 25,000 and 50,000 liters, the latter of which is named ‘Titan.’ The unveiling took place at a collaborative event between XCMG and Impacto Implementos e Máquinas in Jaú, São Paulo, where Impacto has been active in providing equipment services since 2004.

These electric water trucks serve multiple functions including water transportation, dust suppression, compaction, soil moisture enhancement, and fire control. Ricardo Senda, Electric Manager, highlighted their versatile applications during the product presentation. Designed for both off-road and on-road usage, these vehicles are based on the XDR80TE and E7-29R truck platforms, supporting various sectors such as sugar and alcohol production, agriculture, mining, construction, forestry, and sanitation.

The electric water trucks incorporate advanced technological features, including a centrifugal pump that offers a flow rate of 1,000 liters per minute. They are equipped with a joystick control system with a range of up to 50 meters, an electronic control system for electropneumatic actuation of spreaders, and transverse and longitudinal wave breakers for enhanced stability. Furthermore, they contain rear spreaders optimized for soil moistening and dust control, as well as side spreaders for managing dust and flame suppression.
