Araqchi conveyed this confirmation via his Instagram account on Wednesday night, stating, “This afternoon, I hosted Mr. Anwar Gargash, the diplomatic adviser to the president of the United Arab Emirates. In addition to talks on mutual and regional issues, a letter from the United States’ president was received as well.”

Earlier that same day, the Foreign Minister mentioned to reporters that a representative from an Arab nation would deliver Trump’s letter to Iran. This letter follows President Trump’s announcement on March 7 in a Fox Business interview, where he expressed his hope for the resumption of nuclear negotiations with Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. However, the Leader has reiterated that Iran would not engage in negotiations with the U.S., asserting that such discussions would not effectively address existing issues.
