By March 2025, all flights, both domestic and international, currently operating from Luanda’s former Quatro de Fevereiro Airport will migrate to AIAAN, reinforcing its status as Angola’s primary gateway for air travel.
Constructed by the China National Aero-technology International Engineering Corporation, AIAAN is designed to accommodate up to 10 million international passengers and 5 million domestic travelers each year, thereby amplifying tourism and business travel in Angola.
