Lipika appreciates the support she receives from her husband, who manages household responsibilities while she works.
Shaharima Sharna, at just 27, serves as a Community Mobilisation Facilitator, balancing her studies with her responsibilities in Patuakhali. She faces logistical challenges but is determined to uplift the community. Providing support to women from low-income backgrounds has become her focus, whereby encouragement and training are essential for their economic empowerment. Sharna maintains her commitment despite local resistance, empowered by her family’s backing.
Hasina, a 29-year-old, journeys through challenging terrains to facilitate access to clean water. Her previous experiences in community clinics have propelled her towards impactful work in the LoGIC project.
