DLP Resources Reports Over 1 Billion Tonne Inferred Mineral Resource at Aurora Project

DLP Resources Inc. has confirmed a maiden inferred mineral resource of over 1 billion tonnes at its Aurora Project in Peru. This resource includes substantial amounts of copper, molybdenum, and silver, demonstrating the project’s significant potential. Future drilling phases are planned to enhance resource accuracy and evaluate extensions, reflecting the company’s commitment to advancing this asset.

DLP Resources Inc. has announced a significant milestone with the establishment of an inferred mineral resource exceeding 1 billion tonnes at its Aurora Project, located in Parobamba, Peru. This update comes from the company’s comprehensive National Instrument 43-101 technical report, which was prepared by independent consultants AMC Consultants Pty Ltd. The resource is effective as of January 31, 2025, showcasing copper, molybdenum, and silver content.

The Aurora project holds a total of 4,650 million pounds of copper, 1,110 million pounds of molybdenum, and 80 million ounces of silver according to the estimates. The pit-constrained inferred resource amounts to 1,050 million tonnes, grading 0.20% copper, 0.05% molybdenum, and 2.4 g/t silver. The resource exhibits a consistently distributed mineralization between the copper and molybdenum zones, which appear to be laterally continuous.

Mr. Ian Gendall, President and CEO of DLP Resources, expressed satisfaction with the size and results of this maiden mineral resource, indicating Aurora’s potential as a significant deposit. DLP looks forward to the next phase of drilling aimed at upgrading the resource and initiating a preliminary economic assessment.

The mineral resource estimate was derived from 24 diamond drill holes that amounted to a total drill meterage of 18,400m. Further studies are underway to enhance geological confidence and analyze mineralized extensions identified during the estimation process. The next phase will also incorporate additional geological and metallurgical data.

Qualified Persons from AMC Consultants, including Mr. Chris Harman, conducted the resource estimates and have ensured adherence to rigorous industry standards. The Aurora 2025 Technical Report will be accessible for further review on the SEDAR system and DLP Resources Inc. website within 45 days. DLP Resources Inc. operates in Southeastern British Columbia and Peru, focusing on base metals and cobalt exploration.

DLP Resources Inc. has successfully reported a remarkable maiden inferred mineral resource at its Aurora Project, exceeding 1 billion tonnes, which includes significant quantities of copper, molybdenum, and silver. The findings underscore the project’s potential and will drive future exploration and assessments. The collaborative efforts with AMC Consultants are expected to advance the resource understanding, thereby paving the way for further development.
