BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – Early voting is currently in progress for a Special Election to fill the seat representing Maine House District 24, which includes Veazie and parts of Bangor, Brewer, and Orono. This election was necessitated by the resignation of former State Representative Joe Perry, who left office after his election as State Treasurer in December.
The two candidates competing for election on Tuesday are Democrat Sean Faircloth and Republican Carolyn Fish.
