This development arises from allegations that Chad’s airports were being used by the UAE to supply arms to the paramilitary group Rapid Support Forces (RSF), engaged in a brutal civil conflict.
The Sudanese army has accused the United Arab Emirates of supporting the RSF throughout the intense two-year civil war, which has led to a severe humanitarian crisis.
