The Marshall Islands delegation, led by Speaker Brenson Wase, includes senators Bruce Loeak, Jack Ading, and Wilbur Heine. During their six-day visit, they will meet with President Lai Ching-te, attend a banquet hosted by Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung, and engage with several government officials, further enhancing Taiwan’s bilateral ties.
On July 14, the Irish delegation, led by Diarmuid Wilson, deputy chair of the Senate’s Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence, includes senators Garret Ahearn, Gerard Craughwell, Gerry Horkan, and Sharon Keogan. Their schedule comprises meetings with Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim and Legislative Yuan Vice President Johnny C. Chiang, as well as visits to picturesque locations in Taipei City and Yilan County.
The Guatemalan delegation, arriving on July 15 and led by Congress President Nery Abilio Ramos y Ramos along with other congressional leaders, will also engage with President Lai.
