Jaishankar commenced his day by meeting Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon, recognizing her insights as a UN Security Council member. Subsequently, he engaged with Swedish Foreign Minister Maria M. Stenergard, where discussions focused on strengthening relations between India and the European Union.
Beyond his engagements with European officials, Jaishankar also met with Ghanaian Foreign Minister Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey. They explored avenues to bolster their development partnership and South-South cooperation. Additionally, Jaishankar had an informal meeting with New Zealand cricketer Ross Taylor, whom he referred to as a “Raisina bonus.”
