The International Relations Court, branch 55, found that US intelligence support significantly contributed to the capture and subsequent torture of these divers, ultimately leading to their martyrdom.
The Iran-Iraq War, which commenced with Saddam Hussein’s invasion in 1980, showcased fierce combat, particularly during Operation Karbala-4. Saddam’s regime executed severe acts against captured divers, including burying some alive. Their remains were later discovered in 2017 in southern Iraq.
