During the presentation of the 2025 Budget Statement and Economic Policy in Accra, which was themed “Resetting the Economy for the Ghana We Want,” Mr. Forson emphasized that this formalization aims to mitigate illegal migration and prevent worker exploitation. Furthermore, it is designed to maximize economic gains from remittances and enhance foreign exchange earnings for the country.
In his comments on sectoral performance, Mr. Forson indicated that sector ministers will provide a comprehensive overview of their operational performance and future outlooks along with specific policies to tackle challenges across various ministries, departments, and agencies.
