President Zelenskyy is scheduled to meet with Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, on Monday, 10 March. Following that, the Ukrainian officials, including Yermak, Sybiha, Defence Minister Rustem Umierov, and Palisa, will remain in Saudi Arabia for discussions with the American delegation.
In a statement addressing the forthcoming talks, President Zelenskyy remarked, “On our side, we are fully committed to constructive dialogue, and we hope to discuss and agree on the necessary decisions and steps. Ukraine has been seeking peace from the very first second of this war. Realistic proposals are on the table. The key is to move quickly and effectively.”
The talks between Ukrainian and US delegations regarding the Russo-Ukrainian war will commence next week in Saudi Arabia. According to an anonymous Ukrainian official speaking to AFP, Yermak is slated to lead the delegation, which may be joined by Defence Minister Umierov.
