This assault resulted in the death of an international force member, several fatalities among the government troops, and injuries to two crew members.
In a formal statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) denounced the attack on international forces, highlighting that such actions violate fundamental principles of international law. The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to international peace and security by rejecting any acts of aggression directed toward peacekeeping forces.
