The arrested individuals have been identified as Albina Filho Alves Vieira, a 42-year-old salesman from Boa Vista, Brazil, and Erizangela Regia De Olivera, a 39-year-old clothes vendor from the same city. Both suspects are currently assisting the authorities in their ongoing investigations.
Deputy Commissioner Fazil Karimbaksh, head of SOCU, confirmed the operation’s success, stating that it prevented the illegal transport of precious metals across the border.
