Egypt and Armenia Explore Opportunities for Health Sector Cooperation

The discussion on strengthening collaboration in the health sector took place between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and Armen Sarkissian, Ambassador of Armenia to Cairo, along with his delegation. Their meeting aimed to enhance bilateral cooperation, focusing on shared benefits for citizens of both nations.

This initiative seeks to uncover business opportunities, facilitate collaboration between Egyptian companies, and enhance joint health investments with Armenian medical centers.

Ambassador Sarkissian expressed Armenia’s strong interest in deepening collaboration with Egypt across various health sectors including pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical training, and knowledge exchange. Furthermore, he conveyed an official invitation from Armenia’s Minister of Health for Minister Abdel Ghaffar to visit Armenia, to expand joint health initiatives between the two countries.
