Former Saudi intelligence chief Turki Al-Faisal advocated for Israel to assume financial responsibility for damages inflicted on Gaza and the West Bank. He proposed the establishment of a global fund for reconstruction, asserting that it is unjust for Gulf states to shoulder the financial burden while Israel remains unaccountable.
Tensions escalated further as Israel blocked aid truck entry into Gaza, intensifying the standoff amid the fragile truce.
