Libyan Officials Discuss Organizing Entry of Egyptian Workers

The Libyan Minister of Labor and the Chargé d’Affairs of Libya in Egypt convened to discuss the urgent activation of the labor visa system for Egyptian workers. The meeting included key officials and aimed at organizing labor entry according to market needs while safeguarding the national economy.

The Libyan Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, emphasized the immediate need to activate the labor visa system to facilitate the entry of Egyptian workers through official channels. During the meeting, which also included Major General Youssef Murad, Director of the Passports, Nationality and Foreigners Affairs Authority, the aim was to enhance the organization of the labor market and safeguard the national economy. Major General Murad addressed the authority’s ability to implement security checks on visa applications to facilitate the organized and secure entry of workers.
