Over the past seven years, Hungary has implemented 38 development programs in Lebanon, amounting to nearly $20 million, which includes restoring approximately 100 ancient Christian churches. The Hungarian government is poised to continue these efforts to fortify Christian communities.
A pressing issue addressed by the Minister was the repatriation of Syrian refugees from Lebanon. He called on the international community to create suitable conditions to facilitate this return, urging a candid discussion about the complex political and economic frameworks necessary for lasting peace in Lebanon.
