Al-Mashhadani characterized Iraq’s participation in the Seventh Arab Parliament Conference for Speakers of Arab Parliaments, held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo, as a strong affirmation of the country’s opposition to normalization with Israel. He expressed grave concern over Israel’s actions in Gaza and the West Bank, categorizing these as “crimes against humanity.”
During the conference, he emphasized Iraq’s significant contributions to the final communiqué, including the rejection of Palestinian displacement, opposition to violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque and other sacred sites, and the affirmation of the historical and religious rights of the Palestinian people.
